In this webinar, University of Rochester alumnus Johnny Cole ’19 T5, ’20, founder of Hey Brother Co., presents on the numerous challenges men face in the modern world and his approach to addressing them through men’s work. This webinar may offer validation and provide a starting point for one’s own self-development journey as we explore the concept of patriarchal masculinity, the perpetuated idea of what it means to be a “real man”, and how it ultimately impacts our whole society. This presentation is gender inclusive and aims to give an ally’s framework for practicing anti-patriarchal thinking, perspective on how the system of patriarchy harms men, and what you can do to aid them in finding healthy alternatives to patriarchal masculinity.
